Getting married at The Mowbray? It's an old 1889 steel merchants' building in Neepsend, all beams, reclaimed lighting and candlelight, and it suits a photo booth with a bit of character. We're a Sheffield business, so it's practically on our doorstep. Here's what works best there.

The Mowbray started life in 1889 as a steel merchants and it still feels like it. Old beams, custom furniture made from reclaimed pieces and a lot of candlelight. It's a proper Sheffield wedding venue, and lots of couples marry at The Chimney House in Kelham Island first, then walk over for the party. Up top there's a roof terrace with a garden for drinks and photos.
With up to 160 seated, or around 250 for a more relaxed grazing style reception, there are plenty of people to keep a booth busy. A booth gives guests something to do between the meal and the first dance, and in a candlelit room you want lighting that does the work for you. That's where a proper studio setup earns its place. Every print carries your names and date, so it doubles as a favour.

Your photo booth at The Mowbray
In a venue like this the booth usually works best somewhere near the bar or the dance floor once the evening gets going, where people drift past with a drink in hand. If you're doing a grazing style reception with guests roaming about, a spot with a natural flow of people tends to get the most use. We'll talk it through with you and the venue team before the day.
We need an area about 8ft by 8ft and one standard socket, ideally within 2m (we can run extensions up to 10m). We set up before your guests arrive so nobody sees the cables and boxes. We're based near Sheffield, so travel to Neepsend is about as short as it gets, and it's quoted up front on top of the booth price.
